The Royal Albert Hall - London, England.

London’s most prestigious concert venue for both classical and contemporary music was built by Queen Victoria in honour of her late husband, the Prince Albert, and opened in 1871.

Vivre en fleurs decorated the 7000 seat venue for a charity gala in December 2008 creating arrangements for the stage and all principal entrances. The commission also included floral arrangements and garlands for The Royal Box and Royal Retiring Rooms. Boxes belonging to the evening’s almost 400 VIP guests were also dressed, and individual floral gifts – of posies for the ladies and buttonholes for the gentlemen – were created.

Karin selected a rich, red and purple colour scheme for the Hall. Single, long-stemmed red roses and magnificent cream and green bouquets were presented to the principal performers, including the celebrated flamenco choreographer Sara Baras, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Johan Reuter and José Carreras.
